An Engineer's greatest responsibility lies in his commitment to serving society, attending to the welfare and progress of the society at large. His professional responsibility entails a wide gamut of ethical demeanour. He should uphold the prestige of his profession by rejecting any proposal / paper that is intended to harm the general interest or that might be hazardous to the environment, life, health or other rights of human beings. His prime duty entitles him to desist from using his knowledge and skill for malicious projects.
